Part Five: Proposal

I have read Part Five. At that stage, I am still not sure of the direction I should take.

I looked at what I had done in the previous exercices and how I could use some concepts to experiment with new techniques/ideas or media.

One option would be to explore the idea of big and small and to create bigger illustrations made of smaller illustrations/thing. I thought about embroidering paper and/or using meaningful patterns (that tell a story) to create a bigger illustration. An idea could be to think of different ways I could do this and create three different illustrations based on this concept.

I really enjoy patterns and like stories within stories (I find the work of artists like Adam Dant quite fascinating https://spitalfieldslife.com/2021/02/24/adam-dants-london-squares/), so this could be a way to explore areas I am interested in.
