Feedback Point 1 – Notes

This unit is quite different from what I have done so far and I first hesitated a lot and went back and forth, not really knowing how to proceed.

In the end, I decided to read through the resources and highlight parts I found interesting.

Some elements were familiar but there were some interesting ideas. For instance, when I reflect on my work in my learning log, I try to ask myself some questions and I even have a list about what I found challenging, what worked and what did not,… However, the resource “Reflect, Propose and Plan” offered new questions to consider and I thought I would return to this when I reflect on my work.

Reading about the creative and reflection process was also an opportunity to wonder about my way of working. It is often not linear, which is not an issue but I have sometimes felt a bit lost and it is important to find that balance between having a clear plan and being flexible.

I read all the resources and took a few notes so that I would know where to look when I need to revisit certain parts. I then went back to elements I found particulalry useful to write the project plan and the reflective commentary. I took some notes before creating a mind map to understand what I was trying to achieve.

I have decided not to carry on with some exercises at that stage. I have not created a glossary as I did not really know if this was going to help me.

As mentioned at the beginning, this way of working is a bit unusual for me so I do not know if I am on the right track. I struggled to understand what would be the right project, so I opted for what I would find useful at that stage and what I would enjoy doing.
